Information and Background
Southport Aviation, Inc. was formed in 1991
for the purposes of operating an aircraft fixed base operation,
Million Air Kansas City, located at the Richards-Gebaur Memorial
Airport, as well as buying and selling corporate aircraft.
On January 9, 2000, the City of Kansas City,
Missouri, closed the Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport and
bought out its long-term lease with Southport Aviation, Inc.
After the buyout closing, Southport Aviation, Inc. moved its
corporate offices to 502 West Markey Road, Belton, MO 64012
and redirected its efforts to focus primarily on the sales
and brokerage of corporate aircraft. Although the corporation
is primarily an aircraft dealer, owning many of the quality
pre-owned aircraft it represents, Southport Aviation, Inc.
always welcomes the opportunity to assist clients in brokering
or acquiring aircraft.
Southport Aviation, Inc. commands and has
accumulated over 13 years of aviation knowledge and experience
in buying and selling aircraft. The principles of the company
have helped in the facilitation of countless successful aircraft
brokerage and sales transactions from singles, light twins,
turbo-props, and corporate jets.
Southport Aviation, Inc.’s business
motto is built on one simple premise. The aircraft that are
owned, brokered, or bought and sold by Southport Aviation,
Inc. are guaranteed to be of the highest quality on the current
open market. Over 13 years of successful relationships with
aircraft buyers and sellers have established an extensive
network of corporate jet sales throughout the United States
and abroad.
In summary, Southport Aviation, Inc.
has the experience and professionalism necessary to complete
the more complex transactions occurring in the rapidly changing
aircraft marketplace.
